E-commerce growth drives need for warehouse space

Distribution Alternatives, Inc., a third-party logistics firm, moved its Minnesota operations, 60 employees and headquarters to a 402,000 SF building in fall 2017. United Properties took the long-view in purchasing and developing the 30-acre site: “The demands of today’s e-commerce consumer are putting pressure on retailers and logistics providers to streamline the supply chain network,” said United Properties SVP Brandon Champeau.
