SINCE 2018, WHEN THE MINNESOTA PROGRAM LAUNCHED, WE HAVE BEEN AN UNWAVERING PARTNER IN REDI'S MISSION.
For many years, United Properties has been a proud supporter of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI), providing BIPOC and female professionals with the opportunity to further their careers in commercial real estate. Through 12 sessions, participants get a comprehensive understanding of the development process by engaging with curriculum material and case studies. At the end of the course, each team will have produced a development plan, pro forma, and marketing plan.
Our contributions include over 350 hours of volunteer work, hosting the 2022 cohort’s graduation ceremony at our Minneapolis headquarters, and having many members of our Minnesota development team lead a session. Additionally, our executives have served as judges for final presentations, and we have donated over $70,000 since 2018 in order to further the program’s success in both Colorado and Minnesota.
